Freshman camps are the first big shared experience of university life. Before the year begins, first-years get to know each other and senior students in a relaxed camp atmosphere.
Freshman camp is where your university journey truly begins, giving you that first real taste of the student life ahead. This is your chance to let loose after the admissions stress, right before the semester starts. Besides your major-mates, you’ll meet faculty-mates from different majors—people you’ll bump into in the hallways or at other events during the semesters.
You will fight as a team to win the title of “Best Freshman Team,” which comes with a reward—but we won’t reveal what it is just yet. After the daily battles, we unwind with an afterparty that lasts until dawn, featuring guest performers.
Faculties organise their own camps coordinated by the Student Union. The senior mentors and university staff will not only shape the camp’s atmosphere, but they will also support you now and throughout your journey, helping you navigate the early days of university, so you can easily catch the rhythm.
