Pszieszta – Pécs Psychology Days is a student organisation founded by psychology students at the University of Pécs. Our mission has remained unchanged since our first event in 1996: to bring the fascinating world of psychology closer to students and the wider public through engaging, accessible scientific lectures and a diverse range of programmes.
Every year, we organise a spring conference featuring invited psychology professionals from Pécs and other cities. We also engage international students through lectures held in English and provide students of the University of Pécs with the opportunity to present their own research findings.
Throughout the academic year, we organise roundtable discussions, professional lectures, film clubs, and community programmes as part of our Pszieszta Light event series. We also hold an annual charity bake sale, donating the proceeds to a selected organisation.
