The places reserved for international students at Damjanich, Szántó Dormitory and Balassa Hostel — where reception services are provided in a foreign language — may be occupied from 29 August. All three halls of residence operate a 24-hour reception desk with English-language service.
Students may take up these places until 15 September. Following 15 September, and subsequently following 30 September, the place may be retained until 30 September and 15 October respectively, upon the student’s request and against payment of a service fee. The fee is payable retrospectively via the Neptun Study System. This fee must also be paid by those students who are exempt from the dormitory accommodation fee under a scholarship programme.
Not placed in the dormitory you applied for?
During the placement procedure, if the available places in a given building run out, you may be allocated to any other dormitory that is prepared to accommodate international students.
Don’t have a dormitory place yet?
If your dormitory application was unsuccessful, you may still apply for accommodation through the subsequent application procedure based on the Rector’s fairness decision. Details of the eligibility criteria, the required documents and the submission deadline are available in the following article:
Subsequent Dormitory Application – Rector’s Fairness
