About the dormitory

The Jakabhegy Dormitory is one of the largest and most popular dormitories at the University of Pécs. The building is located a few minutes walk from the Medical, Humanities and Science faculties at the foot of the Mecsek. It was fully renovated in 2010 and offers students modern facilities.

The dormitory’s living quarters are arranged in blocks, most of which consist of two rooms, each accommodating three people. Each block has a shared kitchen and a bathroom with a shower.

There are also rooms designed for couples on both the lower and upper levels. Residents here share a communal kitchen, while the rooms for couples on the upper level have their own kitchen.

The GYM1367 university gym is on the lower level.
