The Kriszbacher Ildikó Talent Management Programme supports talented students at the University of Pécs through scholarships, tutor support, skills development, and outstanding professional opportunities, helping them unlock their potential and pursue successful academic and research careers.

As of 18 May 2026, the University of Pécs (hereinafter: the University) announces a call for applications for admission to the Kriszbacher Ildikó Talent Management Programme (hereinafter: the Programme) for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The Programme provides outstanding students with a comprehensive support package, including a prestigious scholarship, preferential dormitory accommodation, tutor support, personalised skills and competency development services, and exceptional professional opportunities. Its primary aim is to help students realise their full potential and support the most talented participants in pursuing academic careers as university lecturers and researchers.

The rules governing the Programme are set out in the Regulations of the Kriszbacher Ildikó Talent Management Programme of the University of Pécs, which form an annex to the University’s Regulations on Student Fees and Benefits. The Student Services Centre (SSC) is responsible for the administration of the Programme.

Applications are open to full-time bachelor’s, master’s, and undivided (long-cycle) students of the University of Pécs who:

  • hold an active student status;
  • have completed at least two semesters;
  • have not suspended their studies for more than two consecutive semesters; and
  • will maintain their student status at the University throughout the scholarship period.

Students graduating from a bachelor’s programme and subsequently admitted to a full-time master’s programme at the University of Pécs are also eligible to remain in the Programme. In such cases, students must notify the Student Services Centre in writing.

The working language of the Programme is Hungarian. Therefore, applicants enrolled in non-Hungarian-language study programmes must provide proof of Hungarian language proficiency, and all application documents must be submitted in Hungarian.
