The National Higher Education Scholarship is the highest state recognition awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement while actively engaging in scientific research and public or community activities.
Each academic year, the Minister responsible for higher education awards the National Higher Education Scholarship to students of higher education institutions who demonstrate outstanding academic performance.
Students enrolled at the University of Pécs in state-funded, state scholarship-supported, or self-financed full-time (full-time study mode) bachelor’s, master’s, or undivided (long-cycle) programmes may apply for the scholarship, provided that they:
- have been enrolled for at least two semesters in their current or previous studies; and
- have earned at least 55 credits.
The scholarship is awarded for one full academic year (10 months) and provides HUF 40,000 per month.
