The SZINAPSZIS+ Mentoring Programme pairs experienced student mentors with first-year and newly enrolled students, supporting their integration into university life and fostering their academic and professional development.
Eligibility
Applications to the Programme must be submitted jointly by the mentee and the student mentor.
The mentee may be any secondary school student who undertakes to participate in the activities of the Programme alongside their secondary school studies, attend the events specified in the professional work plan prepared together with their student mentor, participate in the activities organised by the host advanced college (szakkollégium), and submit, together with their student mentor, a report on their activities carried out during the ten-month programme.
The student mentor must be a full-time bachelor’s, master’s, undivided (long-cycle), or doctoral student at the University of Pécs who:
- holds an active student status;
- is a member of a University of Pécs advanced college (szakkollégium);
- maintains both their student status and advanced college membership throughout the scholarship period.
The working language of the Programme is Hungarian. Therefore, applicants enrolled in non-Hungarian-language study programmes must provide proof of Hungarian language proficiency, and all application documents must be submitted in Hungarian.
A maximum of 38 student mentor–mentee pairs may participate in the Programme.
During the application process, each advanced college may nominate up to two student mentor–mentee pairs. This limit does not apply to pairs admitted through the supplementary application procedure.
Application Procedure
The joint application of the student mentor and mentee must be submitted by the student mentor, who must possess a declaration of support issued by the host advanced college (szakkollégium).
