The Nándor Óriás Advanced College (ÓNSZ) is the Talent Management centre of the Faculty of Law at the University of Pécs. Complementing the Faculty’s legal education, it provides outstanding students with high-quality academic, professional, and community opportunities. Established as an organisational unit of the Faculty in 2012, the College aims to equip its members with up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge, a strong research-oriented mindset, and valuable professional networks to support their future careers.
The College’s academic activities are organised into four specialised divisions: Criminal Law, Civil Law, Public Law, and Legal Theory and Legal History. Members participate in research projects, academic conferences, professional competitions, and round-table discussions while developing their academic competencies and presenting their research findings. The Advanced College has published numerous academic volumes and has been issuing the peer-reviewed legal journal Scriptura for more than a decade.
Community building is another key priority of the College. Members become part of a supportive and active academic community that encourages collaboration, initiative, and professional growth. Over the years, the ÓNSZ has also established a strong alumni network, providing students with valuable professional connections and long-term career opportunities.
The Nándor Óriás Advanced College offers an inspiring environment where academic excellence, professional development, and community engagement come together, providing ambitious law students with opportunities that extend well beyond the standard university curriculum.
