The György Romhányi Advanced College of the Medical School at the University of Pécs was established in 2016 to provide talented and dedicated medical students with an academic and professional community that extends beyond the traditional medical curriculum. Our mission is to create an outstanding Talent Management environment that supports students in developing their potential in scientific research, medical education, leadership, and community engagement.
The Advanced College places particular emphasis on encouraging research activities, supporting participation in the Scientific Students’ Associations (TDK), and promoting involvement in national and international conferences. In addition, we organise professional courses, skills development workshops, lectures, and community programmes that contribute to our members’ academic growth and personal development. We also consider the cultivation of medical empathy, communication skills, foreign language proficiency, and a strong sense of professional and social responsibility to be essential elements of medical education.
