The University of Pécs Advanced College for Social Inclusion is built around three interconnected pillars.
The first pillar focuses on research and education, with particular emphasis on supporting members’ individual research projects. One of the College’s key academic priorities is the application of gamification to promote social awareness. Special attention is therefore given to the design, development, and evaluation of educational games that raise awareness of a wide range of social issues. At the same time, the College welcomes research projects from all disciplines and methodological approaches, providing its members with broad opportunities for academic and professional development.
The second pillar centres on community engagement and identity building. The College regularly organises programmes that strengthen collaboration and dialogue among its members, including discussion evenings addressing current social issues and community-building events that foster a strong sense of belonging and shared identity.
The third pillar is dedicated to social responsibility. Members actively participate in volunteer initiatives, particularly those supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable groups. Through these activities, they deepen their commitment to their communities while developing empathy, social awareness, and a strong sense of civic responsibility.
