Our Mission
The Student Services Centre (HSZK) is the central unit responsible for coordinating student services at the University of Pécs. We operate the university’s residence halls, support the UP Student Union (EHOK) and the Doctoral Student Association, and deliver a wide range of programmes that enhance the student experience — from talent development to cultural events.
Services for Students
The University of Pécs offers more than 4,000 dormitory places, with approximately 3,000 located in Pécs. Most buildings have been fully renovated and feature modern amenities. More than 800 of these places are equipped with English-speaking reception services and are specifically prepared to accommodate international students.
The HSZK Talent Office identifies, mentors and supports outstanding students throughout their academic journey — before and during their university years.
Working closely with the Student Government, HSZK organises concerts, festivals, and cultural programmes, and serves as the responsible publisher of several student publications.
In partnership with EHOK, HSZK operates Grant and Service Offices that help students access scholarships, grants, and administrative support. The Office’s services can also be booked online in advance for greater convenience.
Located in the lower level of the Jakabhegy Dormitory, GYM1367 is equipped with modern machines, fresh air ventilation, and is open for both casual and intensive workouts.
Services for Partners & Organisations
Short-stay guest rooms are available in our dormitories for individual visitors and groups.
HSZK facilitates the recruitment and placement of student workers for partner organisations.
Our modern event venues and community areas are available for conferences, workshops, and cultural events.
