PEN – University Days of Pécs

The PEN – University Days of Pécs is the largest popular music and community event at the University of Pécs and across the entire Southern Transdanubia region.

Welcome Fest

Every year, PTE students kick off the semester with a huge two-day mini-festival.

PTE Freshman Ball

In November, one of the biggest events for first-year students, the Freshman Ball, takes place, where they also take a ceremonial oath.

Cultural Programs

The Cultural Adventures series is a special initiative designed to offer students enriching cultural experiences. Its programs provide opportunities for participants to explore and gain a deeper understanding of Hungary’s and the world’s diverse cultural heritage.

In previous years, students in Pécs have explored the Zsolnay Quarter, early Christian monuments, and performances at the Pécs National Theatre with a guide. In addition, numerous craft workshops, as well as wine and sparkling wine tastings, are offered for students to enjoy.

Beyond the Main Events

Community-Building

We provide financial and professional support to student organizations and volunteer groups, helping them upgrade their equipment and carry out team-building programs.

Conference Organization

Implementation and coordination of academic conferences within the framework of the Doctoral Student Council and the UP Talent Development Program.

Talent’s nights

As part of the Kriszbacher Ildikó Talent Development Program, an annual series of roundtable discussions is organized, featuring more than 20 speakers each year.

International Evening

In collaboration with the EGSC, an annual International Night is held, featuring music and dance performances, food tastings, and a celebration of participants’ diverse cultures.
